Sssssss is dark and disturbing, quite an unpleasant viewing experience.
Other than people coldly turned into snakes, the film just discusses snakes a lot and has a little undeveloped romance as well. I don't like how they take the easy way out at the end, with Dr. Stoner already dead. He doesn't have to face his daughter or have any repercussions for his actions. Nor do they resolve anything, what about his former assistant Tim, he's just left there. Was there suppose to be a sequel or something.
