Review of Sambá

Sambá (2017)
stories of loneliness
5 January 2020
At the first sigh, a film about boxing. Not comfortable, for many reasons, dark. In fact, portraits of loneliness. The every day life of a man after 15 years in prison , using the box as source to live. An Italian pressed by bad boys. A young woman leading the box hall of her father. And many details about the fight to survive or to be. An interesting film not for story itself but for atmosphere.
