Not bad once I understood it was a parody

TOTAL Cheese. These characters know their roles (and tell you what they are!): the gaming nerd, the druggie, the diva, the frustrated gay kid, the edgy rebell, the almost nympho girlfriend--who reminded me of Charlie's girlfriend on Fright Night and I bet it's on purpose--and Billy. (There's a Scott, but we didn't get to know Scott so..) Billy is the fanatically Christian lead and there brings in the Christian Scare portion of the script. At first I was horrified at how BAD this movie appeared. Then I researched it and found out that it's SUPPOSED to be that way. It's a parody film based on Hammer movies. THAT clarified a lot of information up. The scene with Billy talking with God DID make me cringe I admit but it was acted in earnest so there's that. If you like over the top acting and traditional vampire tropes, then this movie is perfect for you!
