Review of The Whiz Kid and the Carnival Caper

A Disney TV movie with a sort of Scooby Doo feel. Alvin is a sort of tech genius who creates a robot that goes rogue and invented a mobile cleaning unit which was like something out of Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines. Charlie's Angel Jaclyn Smith is on show as part of a shifty gang although it's difficult to take her seriously in a smart, pink suit. This is harmless fun, although why make the climax so dark?
