Light-hearted chanchada (naive Brazilian comedy from the 50's), with a very similar plot to another from the very same year (1959): "Titio não é sopa", but much funnier. Here in "Cala a boca, Etelvina", Dercy Gonçalves is hilarious and works well with Manoel Vieira, Paulo Goulart and Humberto Catalano. Musical sketches, although having no importance for the story (a trait that was recurrent in chanchadas), are also excellent. One of the best old chanchadas I have watched.
