Macho Spanish-Shot Western
3 February 2022
Yet another tale of renegade ex-Confererate soldiers with a noisy guitar score, here led by a satanic Jack Palance; this fairly stylish, kill-happy cash-in on Sergio Leone was shot in Spain, hence the incongruous mixture of Americans like Neville Brand and Brits like Kenneth Cope (most incongruous of all being English rose Sylvia Syms, who makes her first appearance decorously topless).
