This short by Grudge director Takashi Shimizu feels like it must have been a pilot for an intended movie. A film which clearly never happened but there does seem to have been a video game, however, and reading the synopsis of that it does seem quite clear that they are connected. The story has a young boy and his mother on a large cruise liner. They are soon terrorised by a ghostly entity with massive scissors for hands. There are a few hints of origins, which seemed to involve a woman being thrown down a well by fanatics in medieval Europe. But essentially, given the runtime, things are never really explained and its all tantalising hints. I guess this makes sense if it was a teaser for a game or possible movie. But as a movie, it doesn't really add up to a massive amount, although it isn't too bad of an effort t for a 12min film in fairness and does have one or two effective moments.
