Martha Canga Antonio and Aboubakr Bensaihi in Black (2015)

Trivia

Black

Edit
This is the movie that caught the eye of Hollywood, and got directors Bilall Fallah and Adil El Arbi the job of directing Bad Boys for Life (2020), after Joe Carnahan dropped out.
Upon the film's release day in Belgium, where it is restricted to viewers over the age of 16, violence broke out at the Brussels Kinepolis cinema after numerous, younger than 16 patrons were refused access after attempting to crash the 5 pm screening having bought tickets to another film or loitering in and around the hall. Screenings were canceled, patrons evacuated, the police had to intervene and the fight continued in front of the cinema with the would-be underage viewers throwing rocks at the police officers. In response, the Kinepolis cinema reduced the number of screenings it had planned for the film that week.
Directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah decided to mostly cast actors with no prior experience rather than established ones.
Directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah collaborated with Brussels-North police chief Frédéric Dauphin to organize a special screening for 250 of the zone's police officers on 21st April 2016.
Martha Canga Antonio's debut.
