Soaring Highs and Brutal Lows: The Voices of Women in Metal

These beautiful, down to earth, and honest women are super women in real life. For those reasons, they have loyal followers, fans and supporters unlike celebrities in US. These women are role models worthy of praise for their hardwork.

Anyone who still thinks Metal is a male thing ... well be prepared to find a whole new world. As with almost anything, you can't put a gender on something. While certain things may be dominated more by one gender than the other, it does not mean it should be a surprise to see geniuses from the other gender going at it.

And it is refreshing to hear the voices - but not just the voices behind the singers, but also the thoughts they have. The struggles they have to go through ... sometimes worse than anything their male counterparts have to deal with. For unfortunately still obvious reasons ... still this isn't just about Metal (mostly, but not just), but it also isn't something feminist either. Although I understand if that is how you'd like to celebrate it.
