Producer/writer/director Haggerty met lead actress Irina Babushkina on the set of the film SKID ROW, where he had a small role as an emergency room doctor.
The film began as a short, but Jim Haggerty really liked the characters - particularly the reporter and cop, who were only supposed to have one scene on the TV screen - and decided there was more story to tell and expanded it to a feature.
All second unit stuff was shot months before the main production began because the lead actress cast was unavailable and eventually bailed out. In between the second unit stuff and the main shoot Haggerty wrote, directed and starred in the short The Announcer, also starring Chrissy Laboy who Haggerty met on this production.
