Leandro Hassum in O Candidato Honesto (2014)

Trivia

O Candidato Honesto

Edit
The number of João Hernesto's party--71--is a reference to the Brazilian Penal Code 171; "171" is the code for larceny.
"Sabe de nada, inocente", cited twice by the character played by Antonio Pedro, is a Brazilian 2014 meme which means "You know nothing, innocent", a slang by axé and pagode performer Compadre Washington, and was featured in a BomNegócio.com commercial ad.
The character of Mateus Floriano is a reference to real-life controversial Brazilian politician and pastor Marcos Feliciano.
The allegations of the character João Hernesto trying to hide a huge amount of money in his underwear was inspired by the actual infamous case of deputy José Guimarães' agent, who was caught on camera with money in his underwear in 2005.
The scene of João Hernesto receiving illegal money and then holding hands and praying was inspired by a real-life case known in Brazil as "the bribing pray".
