Okay. So there's this guy in India, Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan. He made a movie, Msg: The Messenger, a couple of years back that was incredibly awful, but in an "I can't believe what I'm seeing" kind of way. His movie was so awful that it broke the Indian censor board (don't worry, they built a new one), who originally refused to certify it as fit for Indian audiences. While watching Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan's autobiographical first film, Msg: The Messenger, my 10-year-old son made what is the most concise and cogent statement about this work of complete nonsense that I have seen thus far. He said, "It looks like somebody made this movie in their garage." I could have written 3,000 words on the film, and none of them would've conveyed the completely entrancing ineptitude any better.So, of course, there's a sequel.Msg 2 was 70% completed before the first film even arrived on cinema screens back in February 2015. With a release date set for September 18 of this same year, this must be one of the fastest turnarounds for a sequel in recent memory. What Msg: The Messenger lacked...
