Antonia Prebble, David de Lautour, Daniel Musgrove, Esther Stephens, and Pana Hema Taylor in Westside (2015)

Trivia

Westside

Edit
In the first episode of season five, Ted West talks about Richard Prebble the politician. Richard Prebble is the real-life uncle of actress Antonia Prebble (Rita West).
According to Rita's character profile on the official Westside (2015) website, she met Ted when she was 16. In Series 2 Episode 5, set in 1981, they celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary. This places her year of birth 36 years prior to 1981, in 1945. However, by Vern Gardiner's account to Loretta in Outrageous Fortune (2005), he was 14 and Rita was 18 when they first met, meaning she was 4 years older. Vern said he was 23 when he last saw her, which we see takes place in 1974 in Westside. This means Rita was 27 in 1974, placing her year of birth in or close to 1947.
In season two of Outrageous Fortune (2005), Ted (Frank Whitten) makes a mention of a Bert Armstrong who was poisoned by Rita's homemade lamingtons after a dispute about the Smith & Caughey's job. However instead of getting poisoned, he fed the lamingtons to his dogs because he doesn't like coconut. Interestingly enough, Bert Thompson was the only Bert known to have been in on the job, therefore Ted may have been talking about him, but due to his brain tumour, may have mixed him up with someone else. Also, in Westside Bert is known to have been hospitalised by the rat poison in the lamingtons, and was close to death. Teds mention of this event could mean he was talking about someone else, or the producers of Westside could have made the mistake.
Prequel to the Outrageous Fortune (2005) series.
Todd Emerson, who portrayed Bilkey in Westside (2015), also appeared in episode 3.4, Contagious Blastments (2007), of Outrageous Fortune (2005) as Wayne Judd (Kirk Torrance)'s lawyer Martin.
