Nice try but unconvincing

An ex-cop turned small-time thief puts everything on the line to find a child about to be sold to the aliens who not rule the planet. I live sci-fi so my high rating is more for that than the acting. There's no apparent time when the ex-cop decides to try to reclaim his dignity, yet all of a sudden he starts. A good story and the aliens were a nice touch, but... Note there is a short trailer which falls in the middle of the end credits, so stick around for that
