Gregory Barr in Acoustic Hearts (2015)

Trivia

Acoustic Hearts

Edit
The original songs performed in the film were written collaboratively by actor Gregory Barr, along with Rob Stehly and Chris Lukes, who appear as Logan's band members on stage. Barr wrote the lyrics while Stehly and Lukes wrote the accompanying music.
The house used as Logan's childhood home in the film is owned by director Scott Lentz's uncle, Jeffrey Lentz. Actors Taylor Rae Cole, Jason Brown, Karina Grossman and Clark Runciman all studied theater under Jeffrey at Albright College.
Tellus360 - a bar and concert venue in Lancaster, Pennsylvania - was chosen to film the concert scenes for it's visual versatility and multiple stages. In the film, the main character is depicted as playing shows in several cities across the country, when in reality he never left the same building.
Mt. Gretna, depicted as Logan's home town, is a beautiful and lively summer resort town in the mountains of Lebanon County, Pennsylvania. Filming took place during weekends in the summer, making it a challenge for the crew to work around the hundreds of vacationers and tourists that visit Mt. Gretna on a daily basis each year.
Karina Grossman (Lily) was acting in Albright College's stage production of "Vortex" during development. Director Scott Lentz was on campus conducting auditions when he caught a rehearsal of the third act and asked his uncle, who was directing the play, for her contact info. Karina was eventually cast because of her ability to convey emotion without the use of dialogue, something Lentz felt was important for the film.
