Jag Bal in Beeba Boys (2015)

Trivia

Beeba Boys

Edit
"Beeba" means "good" in Punjabi. Good boys they are not.
Although director Deepa Mehta has denied this claim, many Canadian viewers have noticed the similarities between the fictional Jeet Johar to Bindy Johal, the late real-life Indo-Canadian gangster.
Randeep Hooda's character was based on notorious Indo-Canadian gangster Bindy Johal. Bindy Johal had a brother in law named Paul Gill. Paul Gill was also a known Indo-Canadian gang member in Vancouver, infamous for becoming romantically involved with jury member Gillian Guess during his trial. The story became a headline sensation and was later made into TV movie The Love Crimes of Gillian Guess (2004).
Randeep hopped on a flight to Vancouver, Canada on his own initiative to spend a few days with a real life gangster whom he shadowed for a couple of days in order to bring authenticity to his character of Jeet.
Actor Gulshan Grover wanted the role so badly that he hid a recent shoulder injury from the cast and crew until the end of the shoot. Dedication, Beeba style.
