Shortly after the golf cart driven by Daniel Beadle's character in the film was delivered to a location shoot, it came up missing. The cast and crew had no idea what had happened until a bystander told them he saw "a fat woman in a pink dress" climb in and drive away. The Mesa police were called and within an hour they located the woman and the golf cart. When questioned, the woman said she was "driving to McDonald's to buy a Happy Meal." The woman was arrested and the golf cart was returned to the crew.
