The Vault (2016)

FAQ

The Vault

The most fun I had was in my cameo; having to jump onto a car bonnet and spew blood everywhere. I dont actually have a favorite part, its more like a gradual build up of excitement until I get to say thats a wrap. Then I know its ready for the edit and is one step closer to being finished. - Ed Kitchen, Director

They were great. I think its important never to be so rigid in your thinking that you don't allow other people to mold the film with you. That's what the actors did on The Vault. Will De overly and Alex Bird were great and even though they had only met through Skype before the shoot, soon developed a bond on set that produced a positive affect that you can see through their on screen friendship. Ed Kitchen, Director

I mainly wanted a way to combine several ridiculous ideas into one short film. The best way I could think to do it was to have these two guys reading scripts out. The scripts became a comedy point that they could react to. All the mini films are over the top, but you see people writing this sort of stuff all the time from a serious angle. So yeah, essentially I just wanted a short with some comedy skits within it that poked fun of bad scripts. Ed Kitchen, Director
