Can't forget Army of Darkness, otherwise this would be the greatest zombie movie ever made. Even then, it is right up there with Army of Darkness. The acting is great, the chemistry of the fictional band makes it seem like they've been a real band working together for years. Bob Bastard (Parrish Randall) is by far my favorite.
The special effects are over the top and just beyond awesome. Kristi Boul and Gilbert Cortez have really outdone themselves (and most other people) here. All the blood and guts you can imagine, kick ass zombie makeup, and some other facial prosthetics that completely blew my mind.
This movie is one of those films you want to go see in a theater after getting highly intoxicated with some friends, and just yell at the movie while you're watching it in between shots of whiskey. The energy level throughout this film is extremely high, from start to finish. It's the kind of movie that really gets your adrenaline going, partially because of the kick ass film that it is, and the kick ass acting and effects, but we also can't forget the kick ass music by Marzi Montazerri and Ripper Owens.
From start to finish, this movie is an A+. The only downside is that after 90 minutes, I just felt like it wasn't enough. And I don't mean that in a bad way. I mean this film is just that good.
If you have a chance to see this movie, don't rob yourself and miss out on this experience. I can promise you this, you've never seen anything like it.
