He had previously appeared in a main role as Ronald in Roger Kumble's box office, teenage classic, Cruel Intentions (1999) in which he was manipulated into a skirmish with the leading male which caused his death, but inadvertently brought out about the end of one's reputation. In The Murder Pact he portrays the pivotal role of a college student posing as a college professor in alignment with the lead female protagonist brings about the end of the lead male's reputation and ends in the death of one character.
