Soldier 76 (Jack Morrison), Reaper (Gabriel Reyes), Reinhardt Wilhelm, Torbjorn Lindhorn, and Ana Amari were five of the original six members of Overwatch. The sixth member, Mina Liao, is dead in Overwatch's present day, but she is still represented in the game through her advanced robot, Echo.
The character D.Va is the youngest of the team at age 19. She is also an award winning gamer and celebrity in her fictional South Korea.
Tracer was the first character designed for this game.
Before Doomfist was released as a playable character there was speculation that he was to be voiced by Terry Crews.
