This is the story of a boy from America who meets a girl from Canada. They start having a good time together. However, the girl gets deported to Canada. The boy decides to help his love, but he is not sure about marrying her. I enjoyed watching Whitmer Thomas and Megan Park's act. The story is happening in many different locations. I liked the variety of locations. I liked the background music. The ending was nice. In summary, I recommend watching this movie for comedy fans.

This film is an interesting story and besides the performances where not at the expected level in general, Mickey Gooch Jr. was the funny part of the movie and I think he has to exploit this great charisma and natural way to embody the character in future films.
The screenplay was supposed to take in consideration things more close to the reality from my point of view. Things like when the couple was living in the boat and they knew the officials where watching them was overlooked.

This feels like it wants to be "Due Date" or some other Zach Galifianakis gross out comedy. There is a cast here that could maybe pull that off, but the script SUCKS! The premise is quite stupid. This kind of absurdist comedy needs an absurdist set up...and a marriage for a green card is just NOT THAT. It is just too too unbelievable that the lead couple would set up a marriage to such an ogre.
80-90% of the attempted jokes are lame, lame, lame. The fake reviews on here make me angry. That Hollywood or where ever makes such a terrible movie with such a BAD BAD script, while using up so much talent, makes me mad.
Oh, and, a large man very deliberately slaps a woman twice, very hard, once to the ground, for laughs and sucker punches a guy out, also for laughs. It's disgusting.
The end credit roll include a few outtakes where the cast laughs at some of their mistakes. That's more humor by a lot than the entire movie. There are some really fine cast members here...given NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING to work with. Avoid.
P.S. The movie makes decent use of one very fine asset, Gregg Sulkin's body. BUT, he is hosed with water in one scene and the huge amount of body makeup on him starts to run...and no one cares. Just left in. No comments. No jokes. Just a jacked gorgeous young man with obvious fake tan body makeup running down his torso. The rest of the productions values are okay...but this slop is a great indication of the unevenness and sloppiness of the whole film.

What did people expect? clearly too much.
It was a quirky little comedy with many well known tv actors.
I had many laughs and although i will never watch it again, it wasn;t as bad as many say

We need more rom-coms like this. Simple, emotional, funny, and not stereotyped. I feel like anything I watch this day is stereotyped, it's crazy. Grateful this film exists, had a great time with it. Loved the main cast and the numerous awkward moments sprinkled across the movie.

A heartfelt, warm and funny romantic comedy. Better than some if the trash out there. I enjoyed myself.

A simple idea for a rom com that works so well with the characters. If you are yet to watch it I won't give any spoilers but the movie is a great time. it's absolutely good fun. it's kind of different in a good way.

A great story with great characters, it is smart, funny and ridiculous. the idea to marry someone else was just genius and pushed the plot to greater heights. director Tyler Spindel did a great job bring all the cast together, this is definitely a win.

Definitely one of Spindel's accomplished comedic flicks. It's starts of slowly, raises the bar on a brilliantly scripted arc and never falls flat of its established tone. Entertaining watch.

Megan park for me is the steal here. she stole every scene she was in and had great chemistry with the co actor whitmer Thomas. some scenes fell short of the overall emotional tone but they were few and far in between to affect the movie as a whole. Also the pacing was great, it didn't feel like it dragged on or was to short, it was perfect.

I tried to hate this movie but it works so well that i let out continuous bursts of laughter. it is a really funny and cute movie, just get ready for its roller coaster ride. I absolutely loved Micheal Gooch in this movie, he nailed his role perfectly. The supporting cast are great too, Overall solid casting.

As a rom com this movie is brilliant, it is true to classic rom com formats but it feels fresh and different in a good way. The first act serves as a good entry into the entire movie and it never feels to corny or repetitive. Great work form Tyler spindel. The one thing i liked about the movie was that it didnt try to take it self too serious, it would have ruined the tone. its a great time overall, you would have some good laughs.

Deported is an original rom-com that works as an adventure and comedy in a brilliant way. It looks like a film that Zach Galifianakis would star in but Michael Gooch shines in that comedic role as well.
The film as a whole does a good job telling the story of two lovers facing challenges. But some of the supporting roles didn't push the story forward. Regardless it's a great watch.
