    The Racket

We are at episode 4 and a lot of things happen here such as a chaotic day in the office but it is till uneven.

Buck Rogers is getting buried but Richie misses the funeral. The cops visit Richie and remind him that he was the last person to call him. The cops are big Robert Goulet fans who happens to be recording songs for Richie's record company, in fact Goulet spots a gap in the market, the after Christmas Day songs.

Richie is courting fictional funk musician Hannibal (a Rick James/George Clinton hybrid) leaving the Nasty Bit's hanging about who have turned up to sign for them. Richie might be looking for the next new sound but then ignores it when they come knocking on his office door.

An angry Lester burns his master tape in Richie's office which sets off the sprinklers leaving him drenched. Lester then becomes the Nasty Bit's manager telling them the real truth about the music business and sharks like Richie and he will get them the best deal.

Richie's wife Devon has gone to visit a divorce lawyer but she is unsure as to what she really wants.
