Roman Reigns (Joe Anoa'i) defeated Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson) in Bryan's final singles match on PPV for a shot at Brock Lesnar's WWE World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania 31 (2015).
Cesaro (Claudio Castagnoli) and Tyson Kidd (Nattie Neidhart) (w/Natalya (Nattie Neidhart) defeated the Usos (Jimmy (Jonathan Solofa Fatu) and Jey (Joshua Samuel Fatu)) (w/Naomi (Trinity Fatu)) for the WWE Tag Team Titles. Out of all the particapants Castagnoli is the only one who is not part of a wrestling family. Wilson is married to Neidhart, who is the daughter of Jim Neidhart, who is the brother-in-law of Bret Hart and are all members of the big Hart Wrestling Family. The Fatu brothers are the sons of Rikishi (Solofa Fatu Jr.), and Trinity Fatu is married to Jonathan Solofa Fatu, and are all members of the big Samoan wrestling family.
The match between Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns (and the buildup to the match) was made mainly to placate the WWE Universe's disgust at not only Roman Reigns winning the Royal Rumble match, but also over Daniel Bryan's too-early elimination from said match. However, unlike the previous year, the storyline wasn't changed to eventually lift Daniel Bryan to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship as creative stuck to their original plan of having Reigns in the main event. Bryan, however, was put in the Intercontinental Championship ladder match at WrestleMania and would win that title.
WWE Divas Champion Nikki Garcia (w/Brie Garcia) retained her title against Paige (Saraya-Jade Bevis).
