Superstore

Superstore is pretty funny show that will have you laughing out loud. While I wouldn't put among my top 10-20 comedies I've ever seen, it's still funny enough to where it's worth watching. It's rare when a show has so many hilarious characters that are all almost equally funny. Shows like Friends, Seinfeld, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia & Parks and Recreation are great examples of that and those are among the best sitcoms ever. I'm not saying Superstore is as good as those all-time shows (not many shows are), it's still another sitcom where all the characters are equally funny. If you're looking for a good comedy that will have you laughing out loud then give Superstore a try. You won't be disappointed.

How is Superstore.not a super hit? It's a collaborative effort with s great ensemble. I love watching Dina. Jonah Simms is the character and reluctant employee. He and Amy have instant chemistry. Six seasons and over a 100 episodes, the cast looks like they're having fun and so are we, the audience. I loved Sandra and Glenn. Dina points out that Sandra moved from Hawaii to St. Louis. Glen Is just a lovable manager. I think the series could have gone on further too. It wasn't promoted enough. Once you start laughing, you can't stop at the absurdity. Anyone in retail will tell you the craziness is real.

I will never look at a major supermarket or retail store the same again. Superstore changed this for me by showing us the bland but quirky lives of staff. This was an enjoyable sitcom that seemed to land well most of the time. The humour also is on point and I found myself laughing out aloud quite a few times. I also enjoyed when they jumped to short scenes of customers who seemed just as neurotic as the staff that worked there. For the first time I actually agree with the rating on IMDB as its strong in parts but just below an 8. I'm glad I gave this show a go and found it enjoyable. Superstore was smooth sailing from start to finish, ending on a high note.

Superstore is so much better than I ever expected! Normally, I'm not really a fan of American humor; it often feels a bit forced or cliché. But this series truly surprised me. I'm now a fan!

The setting in a megastore is perfect for hilarious situations, and the characters are so relatable that you can easily picture them in your own life. From the overly enthusiastic manager to the awkward employees, everyone has their own unique charm. And let's not forget the bizarre customers. They're a goldmine for comedy!

What I really love is that the show isn't just about the jokes. There's a clever layer of social commentary that makes it even more enjoyable. The mix of humor and relatable situations keeps you watching, even if you're secretly doing something else.

So, if you think you don't like American humor, give Superstore a chance. It's an unexpected gem that will definitely make you laugh! Trust me, you'll be amazed at how addictive this series is.

As a lover of sitcoms, this a great one. Superstore has really likeable characters, a surprisingly entertaining setting, and oddly engaging drama; it's generally a very well written show. The reason I didn't give this show a 10/10 is because a few characters in the show (Justine and Carol namely) didn't work for me, but overall, I adore this show and see it as one of the best modern sitcoms among the likes Brooklyn Nine Nine and Abbott Elementary. I had avoided this show for a long time because I figured it was just another show trying to replicate the success of The Office, and there are a few elements of The Office sprinkled in here, but the cast and writing take what could have been a bland recreation in a new setting and elevated it to a gem of a show.
