Moroi (2015)

Trivia

Moroi

Edit
Originally set up as a three days shot it was extended to a five days shot due to weather problems.
Shot in March 2008 and screened in 2010 at the "Lichtspiele" in Munich (this small festival does not exist anymore), the full version was released in March 2015 on Youtube.
Writer/Producer/Director Stefan Marcinek financed the short movie completely out of his own pocket with a budget of 12.000 Euros (approx. 14.000 USD).
Writer/Producer/Director Stefan Marcinek and Co-Director Chris Weber both had a cameo as a corpse but the scene was cut out in the editing room. In the final scene you can only see the foot of the director.
Due to the small budget Writer/Producer/Director Stefan Marcinek was the "stunt driver" of the accident scene. The scene was rehearsed on a dry and clean forest street. Unfortunately when filmed on the same track a couple of days later the track was wet and covered with snow. The car slipped off the track straight into a ditch. Fortunately the car had no damage at all.
