Ron Clemons and Dustin Doan in The Cliff (2016)

Trivia

The Cliff

Edit
Breck Gallini, who appears in the final scene as the character Professor David, is the younger brother of lead actor Dustin Doan.
The film was shot almost entirely in Dallas, TX (Oak Cliff) with the exception of a few scenes which were shot in neighboring Ft Worth, TX. The production team decided to capture these thrilling shots in Ft Worth at the old incinerator building, which had long been abadoned. The graffiti covered walls added a heavily artistic, street element as the backdrop for these dramatic scenes.
Actor Dustin Doan auditioned late for the concept trailer and was not chosen. The producer Dennis Dotson later called Dustin in to his studio to act in a short scene for a rap video. He was actually, unknowingly auditioning for the role again. He was offered the role the following day.
Conoshia Odum's dress she wore in the Agent Kinsler bar scene was one that she purchased just moments before shooting the scene at a Downtown Dallas boutique. She found out she would be needed for a scene while working at her Downtown Dallas accounting firm and didn't have time to go home to change clothes.
When Conoshia Odum's husband came to pick her up after a long night of shooting, he was asked to be an extra and is now shown in the club scene dancing in the crowd.
