Dissecting Darkman (2014)
*** 1/2 (out of 4)
Fun but all too short interview with Liam Neeson has the actor talking about his role in Sam Raimi's DARKMAN. He starts off talking about how shocked he was that he got the part and then he goes into a few details about the production. He talks about the long hours in the make-up chair and talks about why the story drew him in. Other topics include his co-stars and his fear of heights that Raimi took full advantage of. Shout Factory made all sorts of featurette for their release of DARKMAN and I believe this one here was the most surprising. Neeson has certainly gone on to do much more important films so it's pretty cool that he was willing to be interviewed about a film from his early career. He certainly comes across quite likable and tells some nice story about his memory of the film. The only downside is that it lasts just over seven minutes.
