Sam Winterton, who plays Dr. Sebastian Kramer, is actually one of the two writers of the series. Glenn McAllen-Finney (Director), Tommy Bee (Assistant Director) and Phil Garrett (Sound) are also featured in the series as the Security Guard, EITS Controller/Future Scientist and News Reporter, respectively.
During the first house scene in Episode One, the Loki Mask from The Mask (1994) is slightly visible in the background. This is a reference to the fan-sequel (The Mask Strikes Back) that director Glenn McAllen-Finney made when he was younger.
During Jamie's flashback sequence in Episode Two, he is watching a film, that film is Beyond The Window, a short film directed by Eric Smigiel, who director Glenn McAllen-Finney collaborated with on their fan-film The Mask Strikes Back.
Not including the theatrical score, the soundtrack is made up entirely from songs by Leicestershire bands and artists. The entire film series was made in Leicestershire where the majority of the cast and crew are from.
The RockMan Premiered at The Phoenix Cinema in Leicester for a cast and crew screening on 28th September 2017.
