Very funny movie. Loads of laughs. Seen on Redbox, the streaming site; for free. Usually I mention that last. But this presents a great opportunity, to see this epic stuff for FREE! Of course, you must see some commercials for that privilege. But the commercials themselves are funny. And not the trying-too-hard-to-be-funny, like the commercial for Ladder Life Insurance. No, these commercials are REALLY funny! So, the actresses began as self-promoters on YouTube? Wow, they really came a long way! And the jokes are really funny! I think they hired a professional comedy writer, to write the script. The guy who used to write for Jerry Lewis, they kept his brain in a machine. It kept working; and so did he, (the writer) writing comedy! They could have cloned him, but instead, they mapped his thought process, and created an AI. The brain was pissed that they shut it off. But they didn't need it anymore.
I found this movie by sheer accident. A cross b/w 'The tick' and 'Mystery Men'. As a huge, life long superhero fan, I really liked this movie. The good.. Both lead girls were endearing and really well cast. They worked really well together and the rapport between the two made the movie. The fight scenes were awesome and both girls looked like they could really kick ass. Would have loved to have seen heaps more of these scenes. The not so good... The story was very predictable from the first 5 minutes. Even the identity of the supervillain was of no surprise. As mentioned, great fight scenes however, they were very sparse with the movie focusing on cliché character / relationship development. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and enjoyable viewing. I would have liked to have seen this as a longer movie with more villain battles and more money invested. Both Grace Helbig and Hannah Hart carried the movie and made it worth watching. Hope they do a sequel but hopefully with a bigger budget and a better story line to showcase the two great lead characters.
When you get two people from You tube who have zero talent. A stale, generic show that seems to be aimed at the handful of people outside of YT who know who these people are. The show is going to fail hard.
Grace is famous for acting like a moronic 12 year old and Hannah is only famous for drinking, yet some idiot thought they could hold up a show. Even tho every show/film these two have been in has bombed or faded away before it's even started.
Maybe now Producers and Directors will learn that outside of YT no one cares who these talentless people are.
If there is nothing left to watch on the planet, I would still skip this cancelled trash.

I really liked it! I watched it as an Amazon prime movie not as a TV serial. You need to pay attention to catch all the funny double meanings, otherwise you will miss some of the less obvious ones. The other thing that makes this so fun is the over-the-top antics from the characters. It was zany in a very fun way.
Like just about everyone I'd never heard of the short lived TV series, but decided to give this a go with crossed fingers, having been burned too often by a catchy title hiding a dull film.
The story, about two very low profile costumed heroes stepping up to the big money league, is never too original (except right at the end), but it's saved by a snappy script and two very likable leads. It doesn't take itself too seriously, and there are plenty of laughs in what ends up being a lighthearted romp.
It's not overlong, coherent, witty, well acted and a fun way to spend 80 minutes, especially if you have a fondness for superhero films. You may not rave about it to your friends like you do the big budget blockbusters, but you WILL get them all to watch it, and that's the mark of a good flick.
Sequel please.
