Project Zero (2015)

Trivia

Project Zero

Edit
Additional footage was shoot for the opening sequence monologue using miniatures. Only two shoots remain in the film. The background plate shoots of the moon used throughout the film and the shoot of the American flag laying fallen on the moon's surface, a shoot that is used in the opening monologue.
A white spacesuit was created for the film. Unfortunately it was destroyed during a fitting, with the Director trying it on. The spacesuit seen in the film was the second spacesuit.
The film scenes at the house and co-worker video calls were shoot in November 2012. The film went on hiatus for a month and a half to allow for Tasker Streete to grow a beard and lose weight for the moon colony scenes.
The alien make up worn by the director, Maurizio Dalessandri who plays Martin, was to have been a full face make up and to be worn by another actor. That actor left the production before pre production. It was decided rather than recast the role, Maurizio D'alessandri would play the role of Martin. The half face alien make up was to have allowed the Director to direct his actors while playing this role. The make up preparations kept the director occupied. Most of the storage facility scenes were directed by Josh ONEil, the Director of Photography.
