Jesse Williams was brought on board less than 48 hours before principal photography began.

The film initially had planned to shoot all of the interiors of the film in the Canary Islands, Spain. Production later opted to shoot the entire film in New York.

Kellan Lutz reported that the crew had completed a 16 page scene in one day.

Jamie Bamber, Kellan Lutz, and Jesse Williams performed a large majority of their own stunts.

Kellan Lutz did all his own diving for the underwater scenes.
