The first anime film from GKids to be rated R by the MPAA.
They translated the original comic several years after the movie was put on Netflix. (preorders for the first part started in early 2021)
Also, one of the alternate covers for the first part of the translated comic was the original movie poster.
According to the license plates on the vehicles Dark Meat City is located in California.
The title comes from "motherfuckers" when said really fast.
