The film was shot in under six hours on a budget of less then £500.
The main weapon (a knife) that Edward uses in the film is a replica of a knife used in the Pirates Of The Carribean films. To disguise this fact several strips of tape are wrapped around the knife with words scrawled on them which are meant to be an insight into Edward's troubled mind.
As well as playing Nicholas, David Pustansky also directed and wrote the film. David first came up with the idea for the film in his final year of training at Drama Studio London.
When the script was originally written, it was considered that any of the roles could be either gender, and that the script would be adapted based on the casting. Despite this, before Eliza Leonard was cast as Stephanie, the original version of the character was scripted as a depressed man called Steven who was confused about his sexuality, and who Edward had lured to the meeting through the internet.
During filming David Pustansky ripped his trousers in the crotch and the tear went across the front of his leg. He didn't have any spare trousers with him that matched the costume, so it meant that every shot afterwards had to be carefully framed to either not show to rip or avoid filming David below the waist.
