The only reason why we made our way for this movie was because our plans to catch 'Nirnayakam' turned fruitless as there wasn't any release for the movie in Thrissur and with zero expectations we decided to try this terrible compilation that marked the end of a wonderful day.
An awful sequel that can test one's patience with silly screenplay, disastrous dubbing, amateurish performances, loud score and poor narration,Samrajyam 2 is a a horrifying experience that will make you curse the second you decided to enter the cinema halls. It will be criminal to call this a sequel to Jomon's 1990 Superhit 'Samrajyam' as both the movies are miles apart as far as the quality is considered.
Touted by the makers as a big-budget action extravaganza with a whooping budget of 25 Crores, the movie will make you wonder where all the money was spent as the movie has the flavor of a shabby B-film made on shoe-string budget with a good number of unintentionally funny dialogs that can easily compete with Santhsoh Pandit films and numerous débutant actors struggling hard to speak-out even a single dialog with perfection.
The only actor who managed to pullout a decent performance from the lot was Vijayaraghavan reprising his role of Khadar from the prequel. No wonder why Unni Mukundan himself is uninterested in promoting this film, which can be considered as an immature mistake during early days of his filmy career.Looking forward to his upcoming films KL 10-10 and Style which looks promising.
Overall,it was a herculean task to sit through the length of the movie which will helm the top position among the worst sequels ever made in Mollywood.
Verdict::Less told the better about this disastrous experience that doesn't even qualify to be called a 'Movie.Shockingly Pathetic !
