The film was originally named "Fuel" and was intended to be a black and white horror.
While the name of main character "Riley Calgate" has not changed, there were massive re-writes to the character of George and Caleb. They were originally named "Old Man" and "Brother" respectively.
The casting for the film was done in the exact same room where the "Will of the Doctor Fan" Episode Audio-play was recorded.
