Both Tatá Werneck and Bruna Marquezine appeared in Xuxa productions as kids. Werneck was part of Xuxa Park (1994), and Marquezine appeared in Xuxa Só Para Baixinhos 3 (2002) and starred in Bruja and the Lost City of Gold (2004). Furthermore, Letícia Spiller was 15 years old when she debuted as a "paquita" in Xou da Xuxa (1988).

Originally entitled "Lady Marizete" and later "Paraisópolis Forever".

Tatá Werneck was originally considered for the main role or Marizete but Bruna Marquezine was cast instead.

Henri Castelli lives nearby the Paraisópolis district depicted in the series.

Bruna Marquezine learned the Krav Maga self-defense system in preparation for her role.
