The Film was shot on location of Director Christopher Sheffield's childhood home, his high school, and various hang out spots from his time growing up in Yuma.
The song that plays during the credits is titled "Chainsaw" by Australian Musician Duane Kelly.
Director Christopher Sheffield thanks Yuma Arizona (principal production shooting location) in the end credits for being the mental source and backdrop of the story. Christopher has stated that some of the film is directly influenced by events that happened while he was growing up there and the characters and some story lines are based on himself, his family and his friends.
During the first bonfire scene, Gator watches from the other side of the fire as Bully bumps into a random teenager then shoves him away. The random teenager is played by Dave Ayers who also plays DoppelGanger in the film.
Executive Producer C.B. Martin makes an appearance in the film. He can be seen throwing a bottle into the bonfire.
