The legendary television series, Breaking Bad features several intriguing characters apart from Bryan Cranston’s Walter White. One of these many characters is the menacing yet unforgettable Hector Salamanca, portrayed by the late star Mark Margolis. Having reprised his role in the spin-off Better Call Saul, his portrayal of a silent yet fiercely expressive character left a lasting impression on the audiences.

The late actor once revealed that there was a particular aspect of Breaking Bad that initially sent him into a panic mode that was not in the Bob Odenkirk-starrer spin-off. While it has been two years since Margolis passed away, here is a walk down memory lane as we revisit his reflections on his iconic role.

Hulu is continuing to double down on stand-up specials.
The streamer will air Chris Distefano’s third stand-up special as it ramps up its moves into comedy.
Distefano’s hour-long special – It’s Just Unfortunate – is exec produced by Jimmy Kimmel.
He joins the likes of Jim Gaffigan, Bill Burr, Ilana Glazer, Roy Wood Jr., Atsuko Okatsuka and Jessica Kirson, who are bringing their stand-up specials to the Disney-backed streamer as it looks to take on the likes of Netflix by aggressively moving into the genre.
Hulu has also licensed a number of specials from the likes of 800 Pound Gorilla, Comedy Dynamics, and Don’t Tell Comedy.
Last year, Distefano sold out Radio City Music Hall and the Theater at Madison Square Garden. He started his career on MTV’s Guy Code and Girl Code before starring in IFC’s Benders, co-hosting Netflix’s Ultimate Beastmaster and hosting Vice TV’s Super Maximum Retro Show.

The final appearance made by late rapper Coolio in Hulu’s reboot of “Futurama” featured a holiday-themed hip-hop song and a tribute to the musician.
“Yo, Santabot, I’ma drop my ‘Futurama’ X-Mas list for 3023. Y’all ready for this? I’m about to get nice!” Coolio said in a 45-second clip, before running off with his rhymes. “Kwanzaabot, yeah! Gimme 12 Slurms a-slurping, 11 Benders burping, 1o episodes dropping!”
Coolio originally played Kwanzaa-Bot in two previous episodes of “Futurama” in 2001.
While many of Coolio’s fans know him for his hits like “Gangsta’s Paradise” and “C U When U Get There,” he also had a stint in the acting realm, with one of his roles being Kwanzaa-Bot — Santabot’s counterpart — in the newly rebooted “Futurama.” His X-Mas list rap was his final appearance as the character before his death last year. And it’s featured in the episode, “I Know What You Did Next Xmas,...

New Regency has won the rights to a buzzy non-fiction title shedding new light on America’s first serial killer family.
“Hell’s Half-Acre,” penned by British historian Susan Jonusas, presents new revelations about the Benders, an 1870s Kansas family that achieved notoriety in the annals of U.S. crime history for murdering what is estimated to be up to a dozen travellers.
A number of bodies were discovered in 1873, buried by a trailside cabin beneath an orchard of young apple trees. Below the cabin was a cellar stained with blood. The owners of the property were the Benders, a family of four who once resided there but were nowhere to be found. The discovery sent the local community and national newspapers into a frenzy that continued for decades, sparking an extensive manhunt for the Benders.
The book, which will be released in March 2022, draws on extensive original archival material.

Backyard Bar Wars comes from 44 Blue Productions, a Red Arrow Studios company, behind Netflix’s Jailbirds, A&e’s Walhburgers and Animal Planet’s Pit Bulls and Parolees. The showrunner is Reno Camozzi, who exec produced Flip or Flop Nashville and has worked on series including Treehouse Masters and Food Court Wars.
