Greatly entertaining for mom and kids!
My daughter always loved the fresh beat band, but when this animated series started she became in LOVE with the FBBOS hopefully they continue making lots of new episodes! it's a show parents can also enjoy it's not one of the kinda shows that'll have you wishing you could pull out your hair looks or so ungodly annoying as nails on a chalkboard/racket.. Great show Great songs Great from beginning to end Lovable characters!!! I highly recommend this show for young children! Music helps motivate happy activities! Keep the episodes coming! hopefully this show gets tons more reviews I suggest 10 would be fitting. Fun stories, fun music, catchy I might add!
Biggest insult of a classic since I don't know
I grew up with the live action show which I loved. But this.. No! The monkey is stupid & useless ( Same with marina's hair color change ) the spies concept is stupid & the charm of the original is gone!
This show is actually pretty good!
For animated revival of the Fresh Beat band, this was really solid! It's a combo of Scooby Doo meets Totally Spies/Kim Possible and The Fresh Beat Band. You stir them up and when you're done... You something awesome!
I loved the humor: Extremely funny and lots of silly moments and dialogue that made me smile to times that made me giggle, especially with Twist and Bo Monkey's' slapstick antics. For a preschool show it does an excelling job at being funny!
The Pacing: It's a healthy blend of non-violent action (For the most part, except when Shout threw that football at Winnerchamp, I barely call that non-violent, which is literally my only critique) musical elements and cartoony comedy!
Art Direction/Art Style: is pretty good! It's super colorful, vibrant, bouncy and amusing! Heck, I even notice the character's designs being similar to Fairly Oddparents character designs and they translate well into this new style with the colored outlines and rim-lighting. The animation is also really solid and fun to look at.
Characters: Aside from the Fresh Beat Band, some of the characters got reimagined, like Reed (Oddly voiced by Tom Kenny), but there are a slew of great other original supporting characters and villains to make up the show's roster. My favorite baddie has to be Champ Von Champ Von Winnerchamp, who basically reminds me of Arnold Schwarzenegger but with the personality of Wario from the Super Mario games.
Music: It's a cartoon about the Fresh Beat Band. Expect some good bops along with some other great original BGM made for this show.
It's a shame this show lasted 20 episode. It should've ran longer because it's one of the number of animated spinoffs that are genuinely fun and amusing to watch and enjoy.
Overall Fresh Beat Band of Spies is one of the under-appreciated great cartoons, for young kids, also enjoyable for older people too! It's right up there with the likes of Transformers Rescue Bots.
FFBOS It's genuinely a great show! I wish there more great cartoons like this! Another awesome animated work, Nickelodeon!
