In the scene where the parade is occurring, we can see cameos from Dipper & Mabel from Gravity Falls (2012) and Connie from Steven Universe (2013) . Also in the same scene we can see a cameo from Steven Universe's creator Rebecca Sugar and the show co-developer Ian Jones-Quartey.
Currently this pilot of Little Witch Academia (2017) marks the only appearance for characters such as Thomas, his gang, and the Mayor of Blytonbury who were planned and rumored to return in the tv series but were scrapped from the show for unknown reasons.
This is the only time in the saga where English voice actor Lucien Dodge voices someone other than Andrew Hanbridge, who later debuted in the 2017 tv series since Thomas and the Mayor of Blytonbury did not make an appearance in the 2017 series.
