    This is a excellent movie

This movie definitely needs to be seen in theaters. Mental health is a serious issue nowadays. I personally have known several families that have suffered from suicides.

DCTF did a great job with this movie and all the actors. There needs to be more awareness to Mental Health.

I thought the storyline was excellent and it definitely caught my attention. DCTF did an excellent job with this movie . It was their first movie and I am very excited for DCTF and have been watching and supporting their work. This is the only movie of theirs I didn't get to add to my personal library.

    Thank you DCTF.

You would never know it's an independent film.

I, along with a group of friends rented this on Prime Video after seeing their other movie, (The Promise). I figured I would love it since I did love The Promise, but my friends didn't know what to expect from the movie nor it's theme content. But we were all very impressed with MMR, its content and the acting.

The acting was fabulous from the 2 leads and the supporting characters. The cinematography and editing were terrific and the scores in this film were amazing. What's not to love about this gem of a film by Dreams Come True Films? I hated to see it end!

This short feature is a rare find in indie film! By rare I mean you are watching it, and you get sucked in and forget that you are watching an independent film made right here in the Midwest! Yes it is a low budget film but who cares? This film has all the ingredients to amaze the viewer. If you are not yet watching their films, you are truly missing out on some wonderful movies.

In closing, this film is so well done and has such a powerful message. I was wondering a little bit if it would be too sad but the writer did an excellent job of balancing out the mood.... I even laughed during parts of it. Two thumbs up to Dreams Come True Films!

We should all be supporting independent artists.

This beautiful film by DCTF is much shorter than all their other films (at just 47 minutes) but it is so worth seeing. It takes a look at the life of a preteen girl who is dealing with the recent suicide of her mom. Her poor dad is struggling to figure out if he should tell his young daughter (an only child) why her mom took her own life.

I've said it before and will say it again that the writer (Candy) knows how to tell a story that is realistic and believable. She doesn't sugar coat hard topics such as suicide. IMO, this is a faith based film, even though the topic is suicide. It's handled so beautifully and so gently.

Though produced in Terre Haute, this movie premiered in Paris, Illinois and I had the joy of seeing it on the big screen at the Paris theatre. I highly recommend this film and it can be seen on Amazon Prime. I enjoyed the acting from the teen girl and the actor portraying her dad. I enjoyed the storyline, the music and the cinematography. Invest a little time to watch this movie. It's worth it. We should all be supporting independent artists. They pour so much into their work, not for wealth or fame, but to truly capture the heart of an audience, which this films does.

Another job well done for Dreams Come True Films.

I got to see My Mother's Replacement at the premiere they had at the Paris, Illinois Theater. Another job well done for Dreams Come True Films. In my honest opinion you would never know this is an independent film company as they make quality films without huge budgets or famous actors.

Everyone associated with this film should be proud of how well it was done. This film tackles the issue of mental illness and suicide. I think Stephanie Bosma who portrayed the mother did fabulous as did Jason Bowser & Morgan Danielle McKervey who played father and daughter.

While the majority of the movie is serious there are some lighter and funny moments within this story. So grab a soda, popcorn and tissues and watch another fantastic film made by Dreams Come True Films.

Thoroughly enjoyed this drama/short film by Dreams Come True Films

My Mother's Replacement takes on the difficult topic of mental illness and does so without depressing the viewer. In fact I would say that it is also a feel good movie. I thoroughly enjoyed this film. Everything from the dialogue, acting, music and camera-work was well done and I am looking forward to seeing more from Dreams Come True Films. I love independent films and especially those made in non Hollywood locations. I enjoy seeing filmmakers find their footing and just get better and better. I also like that this film has a powerful message and helps take away the stigma of mental illness. I would recommend this film to friends and colleagues. Well done!
