Having been around Timber Wolves a good part of my life, as soon as I see Hollywood and wolves I know it's going to be stupid. They don't attack humans, it's ungodly rare, and more than likely the few attacks talked about are without proof, and often are hunters trying to justify the taking of wolf pelts now that that is illegal. But real genuine wolf attacks on humans are insanely rare, and if they happen are not wolves stocking humans, we are not their prey, and they are smart enough to realize they should stay away from us. They definitely see as helpless in many ways, as they can move with stealth and humans are terrible at that, so i have seen wolves look at humans like we are dumb prey animals. But i have been alone with wolves around, and while they are 100% wild, and will defend themselves, they don't attack. It's just not a thing. So it only happens in these ignorant kind of movies, usually from let's face it, right wingers who are more enamoured with guns, then facts...
This movie is more of the same, people who have no idea what wolves are actual like, or how they actually behave, just some jerk who spent either his entire life indoors, or hunts once in a blue moon and believes the liars who claim a wolf attacked them so they 'had to kill them' and then they get away with killing innocent wolves minding their own business, when they otherwise would get charged taking a wolf pet. Again, living up North with Timber Wolves most of my life, i never saw a wolf even pretend to stalk or attack a human. They might attack your dog, but not humans. They are in many ways, similar to Orcas that way... smart enough to recognize intelligence in another animal, and smart enough to stay wary of things they don't understand, etc... something you can't say about many Hollywood script writers...
