The idea for the film was pitched to the producers in March 2014 and the crew was shooting on Fire Island in less than a month.
Shortly into post-production, the original editors left the film for unknown reasons. Sean Arena, who had shot a number of days on the project and, with the director's outline, had written the film, offered to step in and edit.
Halfway through the Summer season, director Dave Dodds's son was born - 6 weeks early. Filming was unaffected, although the original plan to begin editing the spring footage while still shooting summer events was understandably pushed back.
Writer/Editor/Associate Producer Sean Arena is allergic to cherries.
