Plot

Young Seide lives in a secluded mountain village in the heart of Kyrgyzstan. She loves her freedom to ride her horse, the closest soul she has, and enjoys playing with the village boys. When she is faced with the prospect of an arranged marriage, her family decides to honor the tradition and kill Seide's horse for the wedding celebration. Upset and feeling voiceless, Seide tries to understand her family's decision but cannot let her horse be killed. Unfortunately, the horse, like herself, has nowhere to go.—Elnura Osmonalieva

A beatufil and sad story of young Seide, a girl from a village in snowy mountains, who loves her horse. She is forced into an arranged marriage when her poor family receives a proposal from a well-to-do family. Even if she wants to run away, Seide has no where to go. Accepting her fate, she still fights by desperately trying to save her beloved horse from being slaughtered for food for the wedding. It is a quiet and sad film set in breathtaking settings starring a debuting actress and the best horse performance.
