The Adventures of Batman & Robin (1995)

Trivia

The Adventures of Batman & Robin

Edit
A Sega CD exclusive game.
Five different video games were developed and released for the television series Batman: The Animated Series (1992). Rather than being ports of one main game, these games were independently designed and developed, which resulted in games with vastly different concepts, storylines, artwork/graphics, gameplay, objectives, villains, and functionality. Each version of the game was intended for different gaming systems: Konami's The Adventures of Batman & Robin (1994) (Super Nintendo) is a side-scrolling brawler, Clockwork Tortoise's The Adventures of Batman & Robin (1995) (Sega CD) is a driving/flying simulator, Clockwork Tortoise's The Adventures of Batman & Robin (1995) (Genesis/Master System) is a side-scrolling brawler, Novotrade's The Adventures of Batman & Robin (1995) (Game Gear) is a platforming brawler, and Gryphon Software's The Adventures of Batman & Robin Activity Center (1996) (PC) is an educational puzzle-based game.
The virtual reality aspect of the Riddler level is loosely based on the Batman the Animated Series episode, "What is Reality?." As with that episode, the Riddler has kidnapped Commissioner James Gordon. Unlike that episode, however, Gordon is not held hostage in the virtual reality.
The game features 15 minutes of narrative animated sequences, drawn by the animators of Batman: The Animated Series; the voice cast of the show reprise their roles for the game.
