With a couple of exceptions, the acting was awful, which was amplified by a terrible direction. The plot is reasonable, but the development was disjointed. Perhaps it was due to the fact that it seems to have co-directors for each episode. Many scenes seem to be there just to occupy time. I definitely do not recommend it.

Good plot, but extends insignificant scenes unnecessarily.

I loved it from start to finish. It's well-written, with good character development. There's not a clinker among the cast - they're well-cast and they're good actors. I really thought the acting was exceptional. The story has good drama. The scenery in marshes and in Antarctica is beautiful and put to good use as a backdrop for the scenes. The music together with the scenery was terrific. There's a good sense of when to make the music a bit wonky, both to provide a creative break for the viewer's mind to fill, and to express something unique; likewise the scenes where people who have died return - these were uniquely presented. The whole thing was beautifully filmed. The story is believable. Besides the film itself I enjoyed getting a glimpse of Argentine society - how the people talk with one another; the street scenes in urban and rural settings; the scientific advances; the courage in some and brutality in others. I loved it from the first scene.
