Diane Keaton and Brendan Gleeson in Hampstead (2017)

Goofs

Hampstead

Edit

Continuity

When Emily is having dinner with James and they are talking about holidays, he passes her an iPad. The images on the screen change as they pass it back and forth to each other.
At 36:55, Emily is walking away from Donald's house with empty hands. At 37:09, when camera cuts back to her, an umbrella appears in her left hand.
When Emily meets Fiona and the other women, she removes the coffee cup lid and places it upside-down on the table. However in the next shot, the lid is shown flipped, top-up.
When Emily visits her late husband's grave the flower arrangement changes between shots.

Factual errors

The judge in the UK court repeatedly uses a gavel. No UK court of any type uses or has ever used a gavel.

Miscellaneous

When Emily crosses the street in front of her flat, she looks left. Diane Keaton is from the USA where cars come from the left, Emily should have looked right.
