I've always thought of daring! media as a Brit Porn company, due to its one-time roster of leading Brit directors like Anjali Kara, Kendo and Lisa Loves, but latterly it has morphed into a second-rate Euro Porn outfit. Some not-so-wise folks in charge decided to emphasize the "daring! Pure" wing devoted to the Couples porn niche, and the untalented Roman Sluka has made many wallpaper/yule log style videos aimed to put the horny viewer to sleep long before the desired masturbatory ejaculation can be achieved.

The credits are quite garbled for this pantomime, no-dialog affair, with DVD box proclaiming the couple Matt Ice and Scarlett Lee, while the separate on-screen credits sequence calls them Lucy Li and John Parker. Parker gets writer and producer credits in IMDb instead (not listed on DVD or screen) and calls Matt Ice "Mark Archer". Further perusing of the database reveals a confusion of John Parker with Mark Archer on other IMDb annotated video lists, so either they are one and the same in need of merging, or this is all obfuscation of interest, perhaps, only to me who has been jotting down credits from screen as a film buff for nearly 50 years now.

Five vignettes are lame in the extreme, the most potentially imaginative (but going nowhere) being the opening lesbian scene pairing Bianca and Erica Fox. One girl has a blindfold on inscribed "LOVE" and her wrists bound together, but is soon set free, denying the viewer even a little of that old BDSM lite so in vogue. Boy/girl scenes follow and the finale is lesbian sex with ALexis Crystal, the other girl not credited - probably one of the previously seen actresses but I was too tired by then to attempt a visual match-up.

I imagine that binge viewing of say, a dozen or so daring! Pure videos would be the test of any Adult Cinema fan's endurance. You likely would have to enlist those toothpicks so memorably placed in Malcolm McDowell's eye sockets in "A Clockwork Orange" to keep awake.
