Dead of Summer (2016)

FAQ

Dead of Summer

FAQ

Yes. The initial plan was for each season to be set during a different time period at Camp Stillwater, much like the FX series Fargo. Season one is set during the summer of 1989. The creators have stated if the series were to be renewed, season 2 would have been set in 1970 and would expand on Deb's backstory when she was a counselor at the camp. They also said a potential season 3 might be set in 2004 and involve some surviving characters of season 1 returning. (x) However, it was officially cancelled on November 8th, 2016, which reverts it to a miniseries as the season 1 plot was completed. (x)
